Words cannot describe how delighted I am to see Julia Stegner walk in a Spring 2012 show! She's been my favorite model since forever, and there hasn't been much of her around recently in editorials and runway. Although it does make me smile when I see her Maybelline campaigns. Here is the most recent editorial of her from Vogue Japan October 2011!

I really hope she shows up in Milan or Paris.

Ever since it was announced that Missoni was doing a collaboration with Target, I have been keeping track of everything related. I've never been so excited for any other designer collaboration before! Today is Fashion's Night Out, and if I were in NYC I would have definitely been waiting in line for their pop-up shop. However, since I'm stuck here, I'll have to wait until the collection hits stores and online next week. I've made a list of my favorites, and hopefully they have them in stock at my nearest Target store!

I can't believe it's already September. I feel like this whole summer just flew by! But then again, isn't that how it always is when you're a student? I'm being overdramatic, but summer is nearly over and it makes me a little depressed. Jeff has to move into his dorm this weekend and then his classes start. I don't go back to school until September, but it's still sad because we won't be free to do whatever we like as much! Many people usually can't wait to go back to college - I could wait forever. Sigh.

Today I went out shopping with Jeff,his mother, brother and his fiancée. I refrained from buying anything (other than a pomegranate lemonade). I need to save up for Missoni for Target anyways, hehe. We all went to Minado's for dinner and it was good although we were just there two days ago. It was funny though, we bumped into Jeff's cousin (once removed) and one of the chefs from the restaurant with family!

After dinner we were on the way home and all decided to go to BJ's for some food shopping. I decided to get the book One Day because I've been meaning to read it and wanted to before I went to see the movie. Apparently, BJ's had pink Hunter rain boots for sale? I was tempted to get them but I already have rain boots...but I held back! We went to Target afterwards where I just picked up some facial cleansing wipes and Jeff got some stuff for his dorm.

You know what else I just realized? My title could be taken as the approaching Hurricane Irene on the east coast. I really hope it won't be that bad, but it would be interesting to see a hurricane in real life. Stay safe everyone!

Wow, I'm actually posting two days in a row! But sorry to disappoint, I don't have much to share. I wish it would stop raining because I would really like to go out and enjoy summer before it comes to an end. Today Jeff and I went out to dinner with the extended family. And then we caught a late showing of Rise of the Planet of the Apes afterwards. It was a good movie, but pretty basic. Though I'm a little scared to go near a zoo now!

On Saturday, Ebisuya Market was having a little festival so Jeff and I got up early and dropped by! It wasn't anything big, but they were selling some yummy goodies like takoyaki, snow cones, and cotton candy. We bought a lot of it...haha...and then some more random foods from the market itself. Went shopping for a little bit afterwards hoping that maybe there'll be some good tax-free weekend sales, but I didn't find anything I really liked. We ate at American Joe's, which was kind of a bad idea considering that it was right before dinner at my grandparent's! But I forced myself to eat both meals - I was so full.

Today, Jeff and I went shopping again and left empty handed again. Oh well, I'm trying to save money nowadays. We ate at Wasabi, the new restaurant that opened at the Natick Collection. Jeff was really excited about it, and it ended up disappointing. The sushi wasn't all that great; it tasted like any other sushi you could get at the supermarket. But the service was beyond horrible. Yes, they were understaffed, but nonetheless, sucky. We did a lot of grocery shopping after and piled up on food.

I'm in a blehhh mood, don't really want to do anything~

I've been meaning to blog about my new Dolly Wink eyeliners, but I've been a bit lazy. I haven't been blogging all that much lately because I haven't been shopping - besides that and work, I basically just sit around all day and watch shows. It's the sad truth.

Anyways, I purchased the Dolly Wink liquid eyeliner last year when it first came out because the packaging was adorable and I heard good things about it. So when mine started to die out, I was very upset. So Jeff decided to surprise me and bought a new one for me online - but he bought the regular eyeliner, not the liquid one! He went back online and then bought me the limited-edition liquid one, which has a hot pink exterior as opposed to the original light pink :)

It's my favorite liquid eyeliner ever, so I highly recommend it! It's too bad it's a little difficult to find. The pencil one is okay, but not something I would repurchase.

First entry from the new MacBook! How exciting it is to blog from a computer that runs smoothly for once. No more freezing and lagging - yay!

Today, Jeff and I decided to go to Legacy Place - kind of a bad idea at first because it was raining and it's more of a plaza. But it didn't last too long! We went to Borders because they're closing down, but I was disappointed because it wasn't much of a sale yet. Books were only 10%. Magazines were 40% but most of the good ones were gone. I ended up getting a mini calendar and one book. Also we went to Urban Outfitters and I bought a couple of nail polishes because I'm addicted. I'm trying to buy shades that I don't have though! I got a bright purple and a nude color.

We went to eat at the Le's at the Atrium Mall, which I've never been before and I can see why. There's very little stores. Browsed a couple places, and then at Second Time Around I saw a pair of YSL Curvy Platform Pumps for like less than $300!! I really wanted to buy them, but I controlled myself since we just bought a new laptop. Sigh.

After eating we drove back the Legacy Place to see Captain America at the movie theater. Eh, it was okay, not the best Marvel movie.

I've been being lazy and putting off blogging, but just thought I'd share a couple things I've bought the last couple days. Jeff and I went to Harvard Square the other day and I was controlling my spending pretty well. But Jeff always has to be an enabler! So I just picked up three of American Apparel's neon nail polishes. I like their nail polishes because they have cool colors and relatively inexpensive! Got the three warm colors - neon red, neon orange, and neon yellow! I'm wearing the neon red on my toes right now (you'll see below)!

Yesterday I went in search for a pair of sandals. I was having no luck online with two pairs I really wanted - both sold out of my size and the color I wanted. Jeff was being a hardass about making me buy a pair of sandals because he hates to hear me complain...haha! So I went to find this pair that I saw at Nordstrom's a while ago I quite liked. They were on sale online, but they didn't have them at the store. But then I remembered I also saw them at 344, so I went there - and just my luck! They were even on sale for $40, down from $60 :)

I feel like I haven't been shopping in forever, when in actuality it's probably only been about a week! Our schedule doesn't work with regular mall hours, haha. But I got to make a quick mall run today because Jeff got out of class early.

First thing I got was the Charlotte Island body tint from Lush. I've come to the sad realization that conventional tanning in the sun isn't for me. My skin is extremely sensitive to both the sun and sunscreen. What's up with that?! I like being tan but I'm not a big fan of regular self-tanners because they smell and Jeff always complains. So I decided to buy this body tint! The only thing is that it's only a tint, so it washes off in the shower. I guess it's better than smelling like nasty tanner - it smells like chocolate!

Another thing I got were these nose pore strips from F21 - I had already picked up two tank tops and was standing in the checkout line when I saw them. Jeff and I decided to get them for fun because they were a chocolate scent and more well-priced than other pore strips. Hopefully they work!

The long weekend has been over for a couple days, but I will still blog about it and and then some! On Independence Day, my family had a BBQ of course! Jeff and I stayed there for a bit before deciding to go see a movie. In the years past we would go to his relatives' house that is situated right in front of a park that lights fireworks, but we decided to skip it this year. We went to see Monte Carlo, just for Leighton Meester. It was an okay movie - I could tell Jeff didn't enjoy it very much! It' okay, we compromise on the movies :)

Yesterday, Jeff and I seized the opportunity to go the beach again! After much weather checking the past couple weeks, it was going to be the hottest day we'll see in a while at 92 degrees! I wish my skin wasn't so sensitive to sunlight or else I could enjoy it more, but I always appreciate a nice beach day. We lounged in the sand for a bit and then jumped into the cold ocean when the heat got unbearable. And then we had a nice lunch at Brown's! I didn't take any pictures on the beach though because I left my iPhone in the car for security reasons. Food pictures are always available for you guys though!

I am suffering the consequences of yesterday's activities today with the redness everywhere. Thank goodness for makeup that conceals it!

Hello, hello!

Today I went to see Transformers : Dark of the Moon with Jeff! I remember I didn't really like the second one because there was too much transformer fighting action going on, but I think this one has a good balance of action and...humans? I might be bias because I like Rosie Huntington-Whitely. Her acting wasn't bad, so that was a relief! The movie was really long though. Like 2 1/2 hours! My butt always hurts after sitting through a movie.

Of course after we went to eat and decided on Italian, since we've been having a lot of Asian cuisine lately. Jeff's favorite, Fiorella's, was still under renovations so we decided to try another place, but they were closed for vacation or something! So we were just like let's go to Bertucci's. We haven't had very pleasant experiences there in the past (bad service and mediocre food). This time the food was still disappointing....service was still meh...so never again. I posted some photos even though it look kinda nasty.

I put a shopping ban on myself so don't expect too many purchase entries :(

I go to Target at least once a week, if not more! I can't stay away from that place and it doesn't help that their store is so close by. Jeff and I have been awake since about 7 PM and wasn't feeling tired by the time morning rolled around so we decided to grab a quick breakfast and walk around Target. We picked up some ice cream, iced tea, beach towel, and this travel brush set I wanted to share with you guys!

It's by Sonia Kashuk, and I think it's a limited edition summer brush set of some sort. It came with this clutch to carry it in as well. The original price was $25 and it was on sale for $13, so I snatched it up. The wooden handles are really cute and summery! I think it was a funny coicidence that I decided to wash my makeup brushes this morning so I tried these ones as soon as I got home. I really like the pointed foundation/concealer brush; it's unlike any brush I have at the moment. Yay!

It's such a beautiful day out! But I'm going to take a nap for a couple hours before work~

On Sunday morning, Jeff and I drove down to Hampton Beach in the wee hours of the morning, which was pretty nice because there is usually mad traffic! We walked along the shore and laid in the sand reading magazines. I was hoping to tan a little but it was too breezy for me, so we ended up walked around the boardwalk shortly after. None of the restaurants were really open yet but Jeff bought me some shorts and a Hello Kitty beach towel and then we played some arcade games. As more people started to show up, more shops opened and we got some fried dough and slush puppies! We debated going back onto the beach, but it wasn't much warmer so we just decided to get some fresh seafood!

We went to Brown's, of course! Got the seafood platter with lobster and fresh steamers! It was delicious.

After eating, we decided to pick a random mall in New Hampshire to drive to and settled on Rockingham, which claimed to be the biggest mall in the state. Pretty good size, but it's just like any other mall! I bought a dress from H&M that I wanted a while ago and it was finally on sale for $20 from $40. And then I got sucked into buying some stuff from The Body Shop.

Good day, I'd say. We came home and passed out for hours considering we didn't sleep the night before!

I feel like recently I only blog when I go shopping! I went to the mall yesterday to do an exchange and picked up a couple new, random things.

First thing I bought a base/topcoat polish cause I ran out. I decided to try this one by Sally Hansen cause they make pretty decent polishes. I also picked up this cute mini Orly polish because it was on sale for $1.

I decided to check out the VS Semi Annual Sale, but I hate when there are hoards of old ladies scouring the bins. I did a quick walk through and picked out a body spray and also bought one for a friend - why not, it was only $3.75.

Lastly I ordered a couple things from MAC online. It was a spur of the moment thing because I've actually never tried anything from MAC before! Anyways, I got their Strobe Cream in a travel size and the Viva Glam Gaga II Lipstick by Lady Gaga.

Jeff also bought a couple of t-shirts and caps for the Bruins' Stanley Cup Championship. I'm planning on giving one to my dad for Father's Day!

Yesterday, Jeff and I celebrated our three year anniversary! I had planned on blogging about it last night, but I didn't feel so well :( So I'm doing it now!

We didn't plan anything extravagant, so we slept in! When we got up it was only to get ready for dinner reservations Jeff had made at Oceanaire, which was recommended by his sister. Originally the reservations were for 7, but we were too hungry to wait! Everything was very nice and it wasn't too fancy, which I actually prefer. We ordered the crab cake, king crab, clam chowder, gazpacho, stuffed shrimp with linguine, rib eye steak, baked mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, and the baked alaska! A lot of food...! And check out the personalized menus they gave us to bring home!

I wish the weather was nicer, but it was kind of chilly! We decided to go see Hangover 2 and had to wait like two hours for the next showing...and the movie was kind of disappointing. Oh well. We actually saw the original Hangover on our first anniversary so that's why we chose it. Haha.

Then we went home and I passed out because my head was killing me!

It felt like fate when I saw this dress today. The first time I saw it while shopping a few weeks ago, I didn't think it was worth the $50 price tag so I held off. I even went online and contemplated buying it when it was marked down to $40. But I didn't. Last week I randomly decided to see if it had went on sale yet, and to my surprise, it was now $20! But then, they didn't have my size left, so I left empty-handed once again. Today I decided to give it another go when I was at the mall and it was well worth the wait - they had my size and was now $15. I don't know why I liked this dress so much, but it made my day :)

Because we failed at going to IKEA yesterday, we went today! Of course I had their Swedish meatballs for lunch, as did Jeff. We picked up some organizers and random stuff. We stopped by the mall after but I didn't buy anything since we were just there a couple days ago. Jeff found this restaurant in Jamaica Plain that we went to eat after which had good service and atmosphere. The food wasn't bad either, but it wasn't anything extraordinary. Oh and it's called Canary Square. Some snaps from my iPhone - cheese-covered fries, mussels, haddock, & baked mac and cheese!

Today Jeff and I wanted to go to IKEA, but after he drove all the way there, we realized the internet had lied to us about their hours. How sad. So we just ended up going to the Target next door, whose hours are always good. Got a couple things for my cousin in Canada, and a makeup organizer and new eyeliner for myself.

Afterward we went to eat at Not Your Average Joe's. We've been to the one in our town, and didn't really like it, but decided to give it another try. Disappointing again - it's average.

I had the day off today, so I thought I'd blog real quickly before it gets late. I woke up late yet again, but it can't be helped when you go to bed at 6 AM every day. The result of summer. Jeff and I went to the mall, and I bought another pair of shorts and a dress. No photos though cause I'm lazy.

This weekend consisted of a barbecue, a trip to the movies, and some shopping. Would you expect any less on Memorial Day weekend? We enjoyed a small BBQ at Jeff's house Sunday afternoon, and then went to see Bridesmaids that night. I didn't think I'd like it that much, but it was actually pretty funny! I did a little shopping on Monday, and also today. Some of my purchases below~

1. VS Pink shorts I got for $1 because of a $10 off coupon :)

2. I have been stocking up on socks because I plan on wearing sneakers more!

Just a quick post for today! Jeff and I went to run a lot of errands today - sending out things at the post office, school stuff, and getting a cable box for his room. We went to the mall after and I didn't buy a single thing (except for food). I'm kinda proud of myself. However, I did pick up another new nail polish when I went to CVS later. It's Sand Tropez by Essie. (It's actually darker than it looks in the picture). Not only was it 50% off, I also had some extra CVS bucks! Yay. But I decided after I painted them that I don't really like Essie nail polish. It tends to clump together when you try to put on multiple coats...

It was pretty hot today, and I'm kinda really hot right now, but I don't mind at all :)

I'll try to keep this short other than rambling on about nothing like I usually do! I went to Target again yesterday and bought this jewelry box. Jeff was complaining about how I left my earrings and necklaces lying around everywhere! So now, problem solved. I finally picked up Sugar & Spice, because I've been waiting for the paperback version to come out. I just like paperback more for travelling, and it's cheaper anyways! Also got another Revlon nail polish in the shade Guava, from CVS though because I was able to get $4 extra bucks. Haha CVS and their coupons always trick me!

Today I had work and all that good stuff, but after wards I went to Boston Bowl with Jeff, Kathy, and her boyfriend Rasild. It was like around 2 AM, and I haven't been there in forever! It was fun. I won, of course :)

I'm about to go to bed soon as it's almost 6 AM, but I'm trying to update my iPhone with Lady Gaga's new album. I rarely update it so each time I do, it takes forever. I'll let you know how awesome her new album is!

Hello everyone, how was your weekend? Mine consisted of work and a wedding! On Saturday (also known as the day the world was supposed to end...awkward), Jeff and I went to his cousin Simon's wedding reception. Can you believe that this is the fifth wedding that we've attended together in the almost three years we've been dating? And all five were from his side of the family! I wish someone from my side would get married already, haha. It was the warmest day of the week, so that was good! This wedding was actually enjoyable and entertaining; the ones in the past have been boring :P I didn't take many photos butttt here's a crappy one from my phone.

After we got back from the wedding around 11ish, we kind of just passed out! I woke up at like 3ish and couldn't go back to sleep. So Jeff and I kind of sat in bed for a while until we decided to go get dim sum at around 8. It's funny how empty it is in the morning! After eating our usuals, we went to see a Thor in Boston Common. Totally forgot that the early matinee is half off, so it was a pleasant surprise that the tickets were only $12! Movie prices are whack these days. We strolled through the park after, grabbed an Italian sausage and then stopped by H&M on Newbury St. The weather wasn't nice enough for me to want to walk around more, and I was getting tired so we went to the MicroCenter to pick up a couple things and then napped when we got back home.

I am finally done with exams! I wish I could say summer is starting now, but I actually have so much still left to do...sigh. But for now, I'm sharing some cosmetics that I've bought recently. I'm trying not to buy new clothes since I have so much I still haven't worn...if the weather was better I would wear them! Damn you mother nature.

I bought a few things from NYX when there was a 50% off sale going online on selected products. These lipsticks were originally $4, I think, so I got them for $2 each. I tried getting colors I would normally never wear just to try, but I ended not really liking them on me...the left shade is "Lala" and the right shade is "Femme". I like the product itself though, so in the future I'll just stick to the safe shades!

This blush I also got from the same site, but it wasn't on sale. I wanted to try it though after I saw one of them YouTube people wearing it and I was like that looks really niceeee. The shade is "Terracotta"; it's a shimmery coppery bronze. I like it a lot! Oh and it was $6.

Yesterday I stopped by Target to buy one of those travel soap containers to put the bar of soap I bought from Lush in. I don't like leaving it in the shower by itself cause then it'll like dissolve when you don't even use it! I also picked up a nail polish from Revlon that was on sale. The shade is "Black Star" and it's a shimmery black. Since I don't own a black shade I was like why not? I've never bought a Revlon polish before, but the smell is like 10x worse than other polishes...I did get a coupon for $2 off another Revlon polish though! And I also picked up the new issue of People Style Watch as you can see under the polish haha.

I'll try to condense this as much as I can without rambling, but no guarantees...!

Thursday. I went to the orthodontist hoping that he'll finally be able to make me that new retainer, but it turns out I have to get braces again. I have already suffered for four years of braces already, and then four years of teeth freedom, but now I have them back on...it's really unfortunate. Basically, after I got my wisdom teeth out, my teeth shifted and blah blah blah so the bottom teeth are a bit crooked again. On the bright side, it's only braces on the bottom, so I can still smile without showing them off. But still, BRACES AGAIN!?! He estimates for a year and a half. FML.

Friday. I had stayed up for my orthodontist appointment, so I wasn't tired when nighttime came around. So, I decided to watch the Royal Wedding when 5 AM rolled around. I tried to force Jeff to watch with me but he got bored. Kate Middleton's (excuse me, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge) was pretty in my opinion, even if it was a little plain in terms of Alexander McQueen. I liked her sister, Pippa's, dress too. The whole Middleton family is pretty good looking actually. And Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip are really cute old people. I'll stop rambling.

Saturday. I went to work. Supposedly the most eventful day for most people, but not me.

Sunday. What else but shopping? I went to the Natick Mall with Jeff and his mom, got some frozen yogurt of course and picked up some new things! I got a dress, shorts, and socks from F21, and then stopped by Lush to get the lotion and soap the made specifically for Japan Relief. Jeff's mom bought another Louis Vuitton bag on impulse again...! Afterwards we all went to see Fast Five in IMAX at the Jordan's Furniture. A very good movie if you like Fast & Furious. Make sure to stay until after the credits roll ;)

On a side note, can you believe it's already May? I have so much to do before the semester ends, but it's not really sinking in!

It was so nice outside today! I didn't believe the weather report and wore tights under my skirt, but as soon I stepped outside I took them off! Well, as soon as I got to the car haha...anyways, we went for happy hour at Sole Proprietor with a couple friends, and Jeff and I ordered our usual lobster bisque and various sushi rolls. But when our bisque came out, it tasted kind of funny so we asked for them to bring it back. It would've been okay but the waitress so being rude about everything so the manager came out and apologized...and they ended up taking care of the whole bill for us! I kind of felt bad because it wasn't such a big deal but we just left them a good tip.

I wanted to stop by Target afterwards, and the guys all wanted to go to Game Stop to buy the new Mortal Kombat, so I made a super quick run and bought a foundation and sponge I've been wanting to try. Random, I know...

And then we went to Game Stop, and then Lindt...and then Cold Stone...and then we came back to the dorm where I've been procrastinating and not doing work.

How was everyone's Easter weekend? I don't celebrate Easter and I have nothing against it, but it's terribly inconvenient for people who don't! So many places are closed or close super early...but nonetheless I had an okay Sunday. I ended up walking around Harvard Square for a while and then grabbing ramen for dinner with Jeff. Left empty-handed though because the stuff I was looking for at Lush was sold out :(

I'm not sure what to blog about. I guess I could write about my Sunday, per usual, but I don't have any accompanying photos this time!

Well, after we got off work, Jeff and I stayed up and then decided around 6 AM that we were hungry. So he looked up some diners and we decided to go to one we've never tried before, Wilson's Diner in Waltham. I got some pancakes and he got eggs and hash and we shared more toast and eggs and sausage and bacon. I always feel fat afterwards. It wasn't so bad this time, but I did still get a stomachache...still good though!

Went to sleep for a few hours and then went to get some lunch with Jeff's mom. We were going to get pho in Chinatown, but couldn't find any parking. Big surprise. So we just went to Le's in Allston. After eating we all went to the mall and I didn't buy a single thing. I thought about it...but I didn't. I just bought a new magazine. And then we went grocery shopping and that was my day!

I made Jeff take me to H&M first thing this morning so I could check out their Conscious Collection. We went to the Newbury Street store because they would have the best selections! I only intended on buying these scalloped shorts I really wanted, but somehow ended up with more...it's because Jeff made me. His exact words: "If you're going to drag me out first thing in the morning, you better make it worth it." Take not we hadn't slept all night yet!

So, I got a top, a tunic, two pairs of shorts, a dress, and a pair of pants. I need to stop buying things that are white and blush pink...

Oh, and while we were waiting for H&M to open, I checked out Border's next door because they were having their final closing down sale *tear*. I bought four of the teeny-bopper books I used to read - don't make fun of me. They're kind of nostalgic in a way. I started reading them when I was like a freshman and now that the series is ending I have to see what happens...plus they were 70% off!

We went to Porter Square to get ramen after. And then we went home and passed out for a good 10 hours...

Today, I went to the mall with Jeff and his mom! There were so many people out and about because it was nice out. I didn't buy anything, so I'm proud of myself. But that doesn't make for a very good blog entry, haha. So here's a random photo of my outfit.

After our mall run, we decided to try a Vietnamese restaurant we've never been to. I kinda forget the name, but it was that great anyways. It was bad, just not good. I got the pho of course, and it was lacking in both size and flavor. Their avocado shake was decent. Oh well. I took a picture of the banh xeo, which I want to learn to make someday. That was alright.

Also, we stopped by the Asian supermarket on the way home where Mama Lee stocked up on a bajillion packs of noodles and Jeff and I picked out all the flavors of Mr. Brown's coffee. We're going to test-try and see which one we should buy a big pack of!

I hope the weather stays nice because it makes me so happy~

Jeff and I decided to eat at Texas Roadhouse! Probably one of our favorite steakhouses ever since we went for my birthday two years ago. Took pictures of my drink and the baby blossom, but I totally forgot about the rest of the food until I ate like half of it...guess I was too hungry!

I've wanted to try this Maybelline mascara for a while, but I finally got it today after Nina recommended it to me! It was also on sale, and there was a $1 off coupon on it as well, so why not? I haven't actually tried it yet since I already had mascara on today.

Now it's a part of the Volum' Express family :)

I thought jury duty would be at least a bit interesting, but it ended up being a total bore. I don't think I'm supposed to talk, much less blog about this, but there's really no confidential information...I basically waited for four hours in the courtroom as the judge called everyone up one by one to determine their eligibility to be a grand juror. As my luck would have it, I was number 134 out of 136 people! When I finally got up there, she excused me for being a full-time student. UGH WHAT A WASTE OF A DAY.

However, I was able to stop by the mall after for a quick, late lunch. Also bought a cute pink-and-white striped robe that reminds me a lot of all the cute roomwear that Gelato Pique or Barefoot Dreams does. It matches a bunch of the fuzzy socks I have :3

On Friday, Jeff found this little restaurant in our town that we decided to try out for lunch! It's called "Strip-T's", and we got some sandwiches for lunch. It was too messy to take a photo of the food, but I did take a quick snap of the place. I want to go back there and eat-in (since we got takeout this time), and try their breakfast/dinner too!

On Saturday, we tried another different restaurant for lunch before work. This time we were in the mood for Asian so we went to Hanmaru, I think is supposed to be Korean but they also served other types of Asian food. Jeff got ramen and I got udon, so I guess we were feeling Japanese-y. Saw that they also had fried ice cream, which I love, so we got that for dessert!

Today, which is Sunday (technically Monday I guess), Jeff and I decided take a quick stroll at the mall. I didn't think I'd buy anything since we only went to Arsenal and Target, but I couldn't resist...got a cute dress and some jewelry from F21, a pair of sunglasses from Aldo, and a pair of wedges from Target! The sunglasses and shoes were a good deal - $3 for the sunglasses, which is a cool round pair that I've always wanted, and $20 for the Dolce Vita for Target wedges :)

Also stopped by Russo's with Jeff's mom at one point and got some mini cannolis. Hehe. And also got some frozen yogurt late a night because I wanted a reward for all my hard work! I didn't take a photo of it though cause they ran out of strawberries and it looks plain without them!

I need to go to sleep soon - jury duty calls. Oh, the perks of being a United States citizen.

The sun is starting to shine here in Boston, and that makes me oh-so-happy! However, according to weather forecasters, it's going to snow on Friday. Seriously?

Today was enjoyable, though I wished I had more time to shop. Before my annoyingly-scheduled 6 PM class, Jeff and I stopped by the mall for a quick dinner (?) and just enough time to peruse a couple stores. I actually didn't plan on eating until after class, so I bought a drink and mini doughnut. But then Jeff needed to eat too, so I ate a chicken sandwich from a new food court place that opened. Isn't the doughnut adorable? Looks can deceive though; it was the nastiest doughnut I've ever tasted. Thanks a lot, Starbucks.

I was tempted to skip class so I could shop more thoroughly, but I was only able to skim H&M. I did purchase something though, a maxi dress! I have another one by them I haven't worn yet, but I just find maxi dresses awesome. This one is super comfy and just the right length for my 5'3" frame. I'm considering going back to get a couple more because there were other designs I was trying to choose from. But I don't like having the same clothing items in different colors/prints, you know? Such a steal at $13 though!

I think yesterday might have been the earliest I've gone to bed in forever - 10:30 PM! Woke up around 5 AM and watched some more Grey's Anatomy before heading out to the Mercedes Benz dealership to get Jeff's car's rims fixed. Service at a luxury car dealership is nice, hehe~ We got complimentary paninis and walked around looking at nice cars. Afterwards we went to the nearby plaza mall where I contained myself and bought one shirt. I broke my spending freeze already so oh well! I'll still try to keep it under control. When we got back, we kinda took a really long nap and now we're doing laundry and watching more episodes of Grey's. We're kinda obsessed with this show.

Today I didn't do much as usual, but when dinner time rolled around Jeff was craving steak so we decided to have dinner at Texas Roadhouse. When we got there, we saw there was a Five Guys, which we've never tried before, so we ate there instead. It was a good burger, but nothing phenomenal.

After, I stopped buy Sally Beauty and just picked up a couple random things. Technically I wasn't breaking my spending freeze because Jeff bought them for me, hehe. I got the Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque that I've always wanted to try, and China Glaze's Nail Lacquer in For Audrey, a Tiffany Blue color.

Mondays aren't so bad when you don't have class! Or even better, when you're on spring break! I thought I still had to do work for my online classes, so it was kind of like meh, but then I double-checked and yay!

So Jeff and I have completely backward sleeping schedule, it seems. Like, instead of waking up at 6 AM and then sleeping at midnight, we wake up at 6 PM and end up sleeping at noon! Yikes...

After eating dinner and then watching a movie, he spent the whole night playing video games, and I, on the computer and catching up on my shows. When 8 AM finally rolled around, we decided to go to the shopping center nearby. At Target, we picked up some orange juice and random food, and I bought the e.l.f. blush/bronzer I wanted! I didn't know that Target had e.l.f. so I was happy that I didn't have to buy it online and pay more for the shipping than the product. Also stopped by Best Buy for a new charger for my laptop, and Barnes & Noble for a new magazine! Then we had lunch at Panera, and then went to sleep.

We can't do it again tonight thought cause Jeff has a paper to do! Haha.

I've wanted to order a couple things from e.l.f. for a while now, but I'm stingy with shipping. Then they had $2 shipping for a day and I went for it. Bought their High Definition Powder, Complexion Perfection, Stipple Brush, and Powder Brush. The powders are good for their price, $6 and $3 respectively. The brushes I really like and they were only $3 each! And of course, I finally got my hands on the NAKED palette! Once I got the email that they restocked it online I bought it immediately. Now they're sold out again, haha~

As if I could love Lady Gaga anymore, her concert was absolutely amazing! When Jeff and I first saw her two years ago, she was all about glitter and bubbles. Now she's all bloody and scantily-clothed, but still full of energy and passion! I didn't take too many photos cause I didn't bring my camera, and my iPhone didn't do so well in the dark. Jeff did record practically every song though. We were really happy that she sang all our old favorites from The Fame, as well as songs we liked from The Fame Monster, and then her newest Born This Way. I wish the stage and her costumes were more extravagant though :)

It's been a while yet again...but I'm just so unmotivated these days! Today was pretty fun though so I'll blog about it here :)

A couple weeks ago I bought a Groupon for American Apparel, $50 for $100 at their outlet store! So I dragged my boyfriend there and I got a few things. Would have liked walking around some other stores but it was so windy...basically just drove 40 minutes for American Apparel. Haha!

Jeff remembered it was Restaurant Week, so he decided to look up some good restaurants. We ended up choosing this French place, called Aquitane. We kinda played it safe and both had steak, as well as some shrimp bisque and mussels. Pretty yummy, but nothing extraordinary.

Afterwards we decided to go see a movie since it was right there, and so we saw The Fighter. It's a little old, so there was only 6 of us in the theater. Not to mention it was a Monday night. I like seeing movies that are based in Massachusetts! But it was a good movie too.

The restaurant and theater was at this plaza that we've never been to, and it was really nice! We have plans to go back when it's nicer, because I hate walking around in the cold. But tomorrow...LADY GAGA CONCERT! I'll write about that tomorrow (hopefully), but for now I have to do my essay. BOO!

Mkay. I wanted to try the L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Million Lashes mascara, so I lurked around and saw that ULTA was having a buy two get one free on L'Oreal products. So along with the mascara, I also picked up their Lash Boosting Serum and True Match Super Blendable Concealer! Here's just a short review of each:

Voluminous Million Lashes:

Right before I ordered this mascara, I realized they didn't have a waterproof version so I almost didn't buy it. But I was like, screw it, and got it anyways. I like the bristles on the brush; they're good for separating and defining the lashes well. It wasn't too clumpy either. However, it wasn't as lengthening as I hoped, but that's okay because it didn't advertise to be a lengthening mascara. I also wish it was waterproof so my curls would hold.

Lash Boosting Serum:

Can't really do a review on this yet, since it's only been a day! It's supposed to make your eyelashes stronger and longer with daily use. I will note that it's pretty easy to use and doesn't irritate my eyes. Says you're supposed to be able to wear it under mascara but I noticed it kinda gets clumpy so I probably won't. Remind me in a few weeks to tell you guys if it works!

True Match Blendable Concealer:

I needed a new concealer since the AmazingCosmetics one I bought turned out to be too dark for my current skin tone. My thoughts were that although it is indeed super blendable, the coverage was a little lacking. Probably light-to-medium coverage. But maybe you can layer it? Still, I like it cause I don't like cakey concealers. So I would probably use something different when I have a huge blemish to cover.

So that's all my personal opinion! I'm no expert but hope it was interesting :)

Hope everyone had a lovely Valentine's Day! It's just another day to me, honestly, so Jeff and I just celebrated it as so. Woke up late (as usual) and headed to the mall cause that's just what we do. Sipped on a mango smoothie while browsing stores; Jeff bought me a new purse and mascara. We had dinner at Metro Grill, where Jeff got the huge ass rib-eye that we had on our last anniversary. I wish I could have eaten a steak but my teeth are in pain and I can't chew...so I just had some mashed potatoes...mac & cheese...it's like getting my wisdom teeth pulled all over again!

On our way back to Jeff's college we went in one of those auto car washes, which was a fun experience. I kept thinking about Final Destination when that girl almost died but it wasn't even like that....? I scrambled back to his dorm room to do sociology homework while suffering with a headache but then I re-read the syllabus and found out it wasn't mandatory. OMG. Then I withered in pain while watching Gossip Girl.

Jeff started freaking out because his limited edition copy of some video game (Capcom VS Marvel?) didn't pull through so he started calling all these places to see if they had it. Turns out limited edition was only for pre-orders so we just ended up going to the nearby Wal-Mart to get a regular copy at midnight. Now we're back in his dorm room, where his roommate ran back from his girlfriend's to play together. Oh boys.

Only two posts in January?! I haven't been motivated to write in here, at all. Lots of things have been happening but I'm just too lazy nowadays to document it! Also, I haven't been taking photos so no accompanying visuals. I'm going to try to change that, promise...

Today was kinda Jeff and I's day off, so we slept in super late and then decided to check out a mall we've never been to before! It's sorta close to his school. We walked around for a bit and had some Cinnabon and Starbucks, where I tried their new size "trenta", which was barely bigger than the venti. There was a place where you could play glow-in-the-dark mini golf, which was kind of cool. I got a prize at the end where I got free admission for next time, so I guess we'll be going back sometime! After mini-golf, had a quick dinner at the food court before catching a movie. Decided to watch The Roommate, since Leighton Meester is my fave. I didn't expect it to be great, but it was okay. Haha.

Now I have to do work for my online classes, eek!

Winter break is nearly coming to an end. Did Christmas, New Year's, and my 20th birthday pass by just like that?! It would seem so. Mainly all I have been doing is work, sleep, and go online. two and a half

The other day was Jeff and I's two and a half year anniversary, so we used that as an excuse to have an evening out for ourselves. We've been kinda busy with school and work, but this was a much-needed break!

We got up kind of late but nonetheless went to spend the evening at Harvard Sq, since we haven't been in a while. I dragged him to the usual shops - Urban Outfitters, American Apparel, etc. where I picked up a cute shirt and some nail polishes! Jeff also got me a more gifts for Christmas, but I already know what they are! He just refuses to give it to me until the day of. I'm such a lucky girl <3

After shopping around, we had dinner at Border Cafe, which was like a Tex-Mex restaurant. I've been there once before back in the day with my high school friends. It kinda felt like we were down south, like in Mexico! I'm not a big fan of Mexican food but it's okay once in a while.

To end the night, we decided to catch a movie. There seems to be nothing really good out, so we saw The Social Network. It's been out for a while...there were about 8 people in the theater! Haha.

Finals start tomorrow for my university - but mine's not until Monday. Phew. I gotta study TONS though!

It's the last week of classes. I am SO not ready. I feel like I say this in every single post, but I just get so overwhelmed cause I procrastinate so much and it stresses me out. I bring it upon myself, I know. Maybe this weekend should have contained more schoolwork, but I did help my boyfriend out with his. Now I need to focus focus FOCUS!

How do you guys stay motivated? I lack motivation.

Have you ever been reading and can't stop smiling cause the book is so cute but then you look like an idiot in public? Well that's what I felt like today. Out of sheer boredom yesterday I decided to read the copy of Confessions of a Shopaholic lying around in my sister's room. I read it before bed, and then I kept reading it before class today until I was finished. Then I started to stream the movie from Netflix onto my phone! I haven't read a chick lit book (let alone any other book) in forever, and now I'm itching to get my hands on the next book. I really don't know why I never tried this series before...I'm a sucker for this stuff.

There's my little paragraph for the day.

I really cannot believe it's December already. Where did November go? But now that it's officially the holiday season, it's time to start thinking about...CHRISTMAS!!

The tree needs to be put up and decorated, and my Christmas shopping needs to be done. But while we're on the topic of presents...what's on your wishlist? I'm wishing for a new laptop and just heaps of clothes/accessories/cosmetics - you know, the usual ;)

The best part about Christmas for me is that my birthday is a week later! Can't wait for the festivities~

1. Did you take advantage of any Black Friday sales this year?

I really should have, but I didn't end up doing much shopping at all. If you read my weekend recap post, you'll see that I only bought two things that weren't even discounted. I was tempted by Cyber Monday as well, but didn't feel like browsing and wasting more money.

2. What do you think about pigmented blushes?

I like them. I don't like it when blush doesn't show up. Of course, that might just be my own eyes cause sometimes I think it looks subtle and my boyfriend goes, "YOU LOOK LIKE A CLOWN!"

3. What was the first thing you drank today?

I think it was Nantucket Nectars Orange Mango juice. I was really thirsty and just downed the whole thing.

4. Blackberry or iPhone?

Well, I have an iPhone right now. I've never owned a Blackberry so I don't know which one is better. But I don't think I'll be switching anytime soon. I feel that I would only have a Blackberry if I needed it for work.

5. What do you think about floral perfumes?

If it smells nice, then yay. But I don't like anything too strong or granny-scented.

6. What's your least favorite color?

Maybe like...poop brown or moss green. Haha, IDK.

7. What's your favorite brush to apply blush?

For powders, just any fluffy brush that's the right size for my cheek. For like cream blushes, I like using my fingers or sometimes a stippling brush.

8. What's on your desk right now?

A heart-shaped vanity mirror, lint roller, two pairs of sunglasses, writing utensil holder, lamp, random key chains, bottle of water and a folder of school stuff. (I don't really do work on it, can you tell?)

9. Thigh-high boots, yay or nay?

It really depends on how you wear it. And the size of the heel. They can easily turn from stylish to slutty, haha.

10.What do you think of glittery nail polishes?

Fun! And festive, that's why I wear them during the holiday season ;D

weekend recap

It was a much needed extended holiday weekend. But tomorrow a new week begins and there's about three weeks left until the end of the semester and I'M SCARED. Please give me strength in this time of high stress...but onto a mini recap!

Friday. Our fobtastic friends decided to go to Wrentham for midnight Black Friday shopping, but Jeff and I didn't feel like making the hour long drive there. Instead we stayed up the whole night and decided to go the the mall last minute at 5am with my sister. Stopped by Target, Forever21, etc. but all I bought was some facial cleansing wipes and a headband. After, we had breakfast at Tresca's and then slept from 8 to 4...woke up to go to work haha!

Saturday. We have a bad habit of sleeping late and waking late on the weekends because of our work schedule. So that's pretty much all we did.

Sunday. Stayed in the whole day, with the exception of getting ice cream at midnight. Woke up in the afternoon, ate some homemade bun bo hue and watched football for a little before taking a two hour nap haha! Had some pizza for dinner and lounged around the rest of the day trying to deny that tomorrow is Monday...

I should have taken advantage of all the Black Friday deals going on, but I'm far too lazy!

This is kind of a strange Thanksgiving. It's the first year that my extended family hasn't gathered at our house. Instead everyone is kind of doing their own thing, since my parents/sisters are going to a concert and visiting friends in Connecticut. Since my boyfriend's family isn't doing much either, we decided to host a Thanksgiving at my house with a few international friends who have never celebrated it before~

We're waiting for the turkey to be finished at the moment. Hopefully it'll be tasty since we had no idea how to cook it!!

The other day I went through all of my blog entries because I was bored. I kinda miss writing nonsense entries about my day. The reason I don't really do it anymore is because nothing interesting happens to me on a day to day basis, and that no one is really interested in reading those anyways. But whatever! I'll do what makes me happy :)

Well today I had class and then went home and took a nap until dinner time. Then I did some homework while watching reruns on the CW. That is all. But who's excited for Thanksgiving?

So a blog entry about the friend's birthday dinner on Friday night. The restaurant of choice was a steakhouse, One Eleven Chophouse (or 111 Chophouse). It was pretty nice inside, and the food was decent. I only say decent because it's comparable to what you would find at any other steakhouse, but a tad more pricey. Jeff and I ordered the lobster bisque, calamari, and we both had ribeye steaks. We also surprised the birthday boy with a cake from Cold Stone Creamery, which was yummy. But I was too full so I didn't finish my slice...

After dinner, we all went to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part One. I thought it would be pretty packed, but while it was still full, there weren't any hard core fans. I guess that's Worcester for ya. I totally forgot what happened in the last two movies. This movie wasn't AMAZING though. I'm not a Harry Potter fanatic, so I haven't read all the books. I kept expecting something huge to happen but every time I was disappointed. Maybe in Part Two? We'll just have to wait and see.

On a side note, Jeff and I always seem to miss fights at the restaurant when we skip work. Someone got smashed in the face with a can of soda. Ouch.

Tomorrow I'm going to a fancy steakhouse for a birthday dinner. BUT I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO WEAR. I've practically teared my closet apart inside out, but nothing seems to fit the occasion! If only I could do some last minute shopping...

A little blogging before bed~

I know American Apparel is suffering and all right now, but that's better for us who now get to buy their stuff for 50% online!! I ordered from two different sales on Swirl, which is another one of those sites similar to GiltGroupe and HauteLook.

My gets: Dolman Sleeve Hoody, Leggings & Crop Leggings, Printed Double-U Mini Dress, and Rib Raglan.

I really like ASOS. However, shipping from the UK is a pain in the ARSE. Not only does it take about a month to get here, but twice I've had problems with my orders. The first time my package was lost in the mail so they had to send me another one. This time, my order was wrong and they sent me someone else's shoes. I originally ordered a really cute pair of leopard-print flats but now they're out of stock so they have to refund my order instead :(

These were the shoes they sent me - I would consider keeping them if they were my size!

And I finally got my ViVi magazines. I haven't read it in like two months! The November one came with this fuzzy pouch thing that reminds me of the dust thingys in Spririted Away! I don't what I could keep in it except my camera. It's really soft though so I like petting it.

It was the Victoria's Secret Fashion show tonight in NYC! I love all the sparkle and glamour, and hope that my favorite models will be there. But since the most of the world will have to wait until November 30 to see it on TV, I'm going to share these photos of last year's looks.

Just a short weekend update. I'm aware that these are boring, but I do it just to 1) have something to blog about, 2) share random photos, and 3) remember in the future.

Actually worked most of this weekend, so there's nothing much to it. But today, we went to the mall so I could pick up a belated birthday gift for my sister (she's 21 now) and also got myself a pair of "treggings" and a body mist. I do not know why they are called "treggings" cause they're just kinda like slim stretchy twill pants. I don't know. I like them though, a nice change from all the jeans/leggings/jeggings that I usually wear. Haha.

We tried out a hot pot buffet place but I wasn't really feeling it. If you've been reading my tweets and blog you'll know I've been having hot pot a lot these days...plus, we've already decided that Shabu-Zen is the best for hot pot. I think we'll hold off on the shabu for a while.

Is Thanksgiving in two weeks? Jeez time flies by!

How was everyone's Halloweekend? Mine was pretty fun, despite the fact that I didn't really engage in any spooky activities!

We decided to take a trip to Rockport, and take in the coastal views and food before they closed for the winter season! Surprisingly, it wasn't too far of a drive. Took lots of touristy photos, ate lobster and other sea goodies, and walked around looking at memorabilia I would never buy. Fun fact: most of the movie The Proposal was filmed here! It wasn't Alaska...those tricksters.

Made a halfway pitstop at the mall afterwards and got myself some goodies at Forever21. The F21 at Northshore is seriously the best one...I wish I had more time to look around but we were in a time rush! But I managed to snag a couple pullovers/cardigans/earrings.

For dinner we made it back into the city and had some shabu shabu at Little Q! It was pretty good, but I think I still like Shabu-Zen the best. That's all I really have to say about that.

All in all, an enjoyable day other than cramming my history of medical debates paper in at the very end. Maybe I'll go buy some discounted candy at the drugstore tomorrow.

This is a bit overdue...but wow has it been a month already? Actually, it's been more because I skipped a couple days here and there. Nonetheless, it's been fun and a good motivator to blog. I hope that I will continue to blog even without an incentive - so here's the last challenge!! (Keep in mind I was rushing and really lazy...)

The weather usually gets chilly around this time of year, but yesterday it happened to be quite nice out. So Jeff decided to drive back after his classes and we spent the day together. It makes the week a lot shorter when there's a break in there!

We had Kelly's Roast Beef for lunch, which was alright. He had the roast beef, I actually had the pulled beef (?). I forgot to take photos though...

After eating we went for a quick trip around the mall. Got myself a pair of shorts from H&M. I really like the wash of them - they remind me of the Wildfox style, a kind of 80's vintage California look? They're a bit short (they were the last pair!), but they were on sale for only $5 so I'll either wear them with shorts or just around the house. Or maybe even on the beach.

I've been wanting to go to H-Mart, so we did! Did some grocery shopping along with Mama Lee and then we had Korean grub for dinner at the food court. I don't know the name of the thing I ordered...but it was like a spicy pork with veggies soup. I was just craving the kimchee they give you on the side though, hehe.

I know I keep saying I have a lot to do and I should stay away from this blog...but it's like a stress reliever! Until next time~

Weekend was pretty good. Friday night was the usual restaurant charade. But Jeff and I decided to take Saturday off and have some time to ourselves. I wanted to go shopping quite badly but limited myself to H&M...where I left empty handed. I guess it's a good thing though. However, we went next door to the bookstore and I got myself a stack of new magazines. My guilty pleasures.

We had a farewell family dinner for my cousin, who's moving to California next week. I'm really jealous. I think I'll end up there someday...I love Boston but I feel like a California girl at heart. Hehe. After we said our farewells, Jeff and I headed up to Clark for a little college fun. We first went to a friend's costume party, where I dressed as a pilot and Jeff was the Pink Panther. We then went to another friend's dance party afterward and hung out before we decided to bounce for our usual late night food & tv. I love lazing around.

I have much to do before this month ends. Ugh. I know I should keep myself away from the world wide web but I just can't help myself!
